Nicolas Cage has recently added the A24 comedy film Dream Scenario to his string of successful hits. Kristoffer Borgli directed and penned the film. Square Peg, a production company, founded by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen, will produce the picture. They are the captains behind Midsommar and Hereditary, two of A24’s most notable projects. Aster signed a first-look deal last year with the studio. Now, he is looking forward to Disappointment Blvd. which stars Joaquin Phoenix and is his latest horror comedy film under A24.

Deadline now reports that Cage has joined Dream Scenario’s cast. Cage’s role is unknown, as well as the story behind it. Sources describe it as a comedy movie. Additional details about the film are still unknown, but Tyler Campellone and Jacob Jaffke will produce.

Cage is currently enjoying a major career revival. His latest role comes months after Tom Gormican’s comedy movie ‘The Unbearable weight of Massive Talent.’ Cage was praised for playing himself alongside Pedro Pascal, a super-fan millionaire in the movie. Cage’s role as a reclusive truffle farm owner in the award-winning drama Pig is equally well-known. Cage will also be making his first forays into Western cinema with Gabe Polsky’s Butcher’s Crossing this September. While Dream Scenario details are still being finalized, audiences can look forward to Cage’s role as Dracula in the horror-comedy film Renfield which will be released in theaters on April 14.

The 58 years old Cage was welcomed into the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ in 1998 for his immense contribution to the Hollywood film industry.
