Call of Duty (COD) Warzone fans has been restless for more details about Warzone 2.0, the game’s sequel. Fortunately, they were able to enjoy a large chunk of shiny information today regarding the Call of Duty Next event. Sources reveal the game’s map, how it is different from the original Warzone, and launch details.
Starting with the COD: Warzone 2.0’s map called Al Mazrah, It takes place in a deserted region of Western Asia. Some points of interest include Quarry, Taraq Village, Al Mazrah City, and Quarry. The new map features a river running through it, giving Warzone veterans a new way of traversing a Call of Duty BR. When the circle begins to close, or even better, when it starts to close completely, you will find new ways handy to move around on the map.
Warzone 2.0 will feature a new circle mechanic for Al Mazrah. Multiple circles will appear and change end-game scenarios when they combine again.
If you fall prey to an enemy player or the gas, you will be greeted by the revamped “Gulag 2.0,” where players will battle it out in a 2v2 arena. The new Gulag 2.0 will allow players to get weapons and deal with “The Jailer” in addition to other tasks.
Al Mazrah will also have areas controlled by an AI faction. These sections are known as Strongholds. According to the developer, this AI addition is intended to increase stakes and create more realistic combat scenarios for Warzone players.
