Marvel’s Kevin Feige gave MCU viewers a preview of the upcoming attractions in the expanding cinematic universe. The big part was the announcement that Phase 6 would conclude with two new Avengers movies in May 2025 and November 2025. In addition, we know that Shang-Chi’s Destin Dan Cretton will direct, while Deadline has confirmed that Rick & Morty veteran Jeff Loveness will write the script.
Of course, Feige didn’t just take Loveness from Rick and give him the job on one of the biggest films in the company’s history. Instead, he has been busy directing Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. This movie, which may not be so coincidentally, also features Jonathan Majors’ Kang, who will undoubtedly be the biggest threat to that particular Avengers.
The movie’s title and likely villain are all that we know. It will be released on 2nd May 2025. Avengers: Secret Wars will follow on 7th November. Quantumania will be arriving in our area on 17th February next year.
Thirty-three years old Jeff Loveness is an American screenwriter, TV producer, actor, and comic book writer. Loveness is best known for his work with Jimmy Kimmel Live! Rick & Morty and the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania.
