John Wick came out as one of the most popular American neo-noir media franchises. Each flick of the franchise is packed with action, thriller, and Keanu Reeve’s usual macho charms. Derek Kolstad, the screenwriter has perfectly portrayed Keanu as a former hitman who left the criminal underworld for his love. However, he had to step back into the dark world when life hit him hard.
The first film hit cinemas in October 2014, followed by two sequels in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Now the fourth one is expected to be released in March 2023. The three movies brought considerable critical and commercial successes worth 587 million dollars to the franchise owner, Lionsgate.
Now, Lionsgate is all set to release the fourth installment, John Wick: Chapter 4. The movie is already in post-production, set to hit the screens on March 24th, 2023. But, for now, its teaser is unveiled, making all of us eager to watch Keanu back in his thrilling assassin avatar.
So far, we can see all the ingredients of a highly stimulating action drama in the teaser. We anticipate action, swords, guns, sleek cars, and fights in the fourth installment. Chad Stahelski is directing John Wick: Chapter 4. The teaser shows Keanu Reeves using and facing all sorts of dangerous weapons known to humankind in his uniquely elegant style.
We can assume that the plot will remain the same, revolving around the character of John Wick facing death and underworld wrath in the thrilling action sequences. Besides Keanu as John Wick, the teaser shows both former stars and some new addition. Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, and Ian McShane are also returning as The Bowery King, Charon, and Winston, respectively.
According to what sources revealed besides John Wick 4 teaser, there is another speculation. We will most likely enjoy a fifth installment of the franchise very soon after the 4th chapter.
