LOTR Movies ascends Amazon Top 10 Chart to welcome the upcoming Rings of Power

The Amazon Top 10 chart shows a significant rise in a stream of various original Lord of the Rings movies. It is mostly due to the audience’s anticipation of The Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power. The original Lord of the Rings Trilogy, including The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King, had Peter Jackson as director. The onscreen saga is adapted from the legendary fantasy work of J.R.R. Tolkien. Jackson’s adaptation of Tolkien’s prequel, The Hobbit, was hugely successful almost ten years after the trilogy ended. It was divided into three entries. However, these movies weren’t as popular as the universally beloved and critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The latest entry in the franchise is The Rings of Power. It premieres on September 1 on Prime Video. It is based on the appendices of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings book. It will be set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, years before the events of The Hobbit. It features a wide range of characters, including several Lord of the Rings characters and several new characters from Tolkien’s works never before seen in live action.

FlixPatrol reports that some of the Lord of the Rings movies and Hobbit movies are back on the charts in advance of the Rings of Power premiere. These older titles in the trilogies suggest that viewers are trying to binge-watch the film to prepare. The current listing has The Two Towers at 9th, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 5th, and The Fellowship of the Ring at 3rd positions.

There are two weeks left until The Rings of Power’s release date. Lord of the Rings fans may send the charted movies higher than usual. We can also expect that all six Lord of the Rings movies and Hobbit movies could be on the charts in the near future. They are currently competing with Ron Howard’s thriller Thirteen Lives, Channing Tatum’s adventure rom-com The Lost City, and a slate of 2021 titles such as House of Gucci and Licorice Pizza.

The resurgence of interest in Lord of the Rings could indicate a bright future for The Rings of Power. Although the show will need to attract a large audience to cover its record-setting price, these rankings indicate that there is a lot of interest among the Prime Video core audience. It’s never been a good idea to bet on the Middle-Earth saga. And it looks like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season one may be the beginning of many.
