At the Governors Awards in 2022, SS Rajamouli and JJ Abrams crossed paths where Abrams expressed his respect for RRR.
The photo of the two renowned filmmakers was shared on RRR’s official Twitter page yesterday. In addition, Abrams mentioned in the article that he is a big fan of RRR.
The caption on the post read:
“And the foRRRce continues to be with #RRRMovie. Hollywood filmmaker @JJAbrams, the director of Star Wars, Mission Impossible, and many other remarkable movies, said that he is a HUGE FAN of #RRR. Glad to see @SS Rajamouli meet him at the Governors Awards.
This occurred right around the time that the Bahubali filmmaker sent the Oscars committee his blockbuster film RRR, starring NTR Jr. and Ram Charan.
Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn also had significant parts in RRR.
It has been announced that SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu will work together on SSMB 29. According to IndiaToday, the film will be an action-adventure drama similar to the Indiana Jones film series.
