Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola, a South Side author, has allegedly added to the cast of the upcoming Marvel Studios series “Ironheart.” But her character is still not disclosed in front of the audience. She is cast alongside Dominique Thorne, who will be the main protagonist in the series.
Olayiwola is a comedian who has performed alongside other popular comedians, including Hannibal Burress, Aida Rodriguez, Michael Che, and Arsenio Hall. A talented actress and writer, presently working as a staff writer on South Side previously mentioned at HBO Max’s. She has a list of other TV credits, including HBO’s Insecure, A Black Lady Sketch Show, NBC’s Chicago P.D., and The Late Show.
Her other planned ventures include Good Times animated adaptation for Netflix. She is also working on Shermans Showcase’s new season for IFC and AMC, for which she will write and co-star. However, she will work with formerly announced cast Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, Manny Montana, Lyric Ross, Harper Anthony, Alden Ehrenreich, Zoe Terakes, Regan Aliyah, and Shea CoulĂ©e.
Furthermore, the show’s creator and co-writer for the series Ironheart will be Snowpiercer’s Chinaka Hodge, together with Eve Ewing. Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes will co-direct the 6-episode series Ironheart. Moreover, the executive producers are Ryan, Zinzi Coogler, Hodge, and Sev Ohanian. While Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and Zoie Nagelhout from Marvel Studios will team up with them.
