Patty Jenkins scheduled the release date of the upcoming Star Wars spin-off for December 22, 2023, but now it’s pulled back. Not only that but it was also removed from the studio’s production schedule. Star Wars fans would be really disappointed, but it was expected. No? As a matter of fact, Star Wars should have been in production by now if the release date was in December 2023.

Besides, Rogue Squadron has already been postponed from its intended November 2023 release date because of scheduling issues with Jenkins. The movie still isn’t in the production stage, but that’s also not always bad. It doesn’t imply that the movie has been scrapped. It’s just a lot farther away than we expected.

In addition, Disney is shuffling some of its other release dates. For example, Haunted Mansion will now release on August 11, 2023, taking the place of an untitled action movie. This untitled movie was actually scheduled for the date on which Haunted Mansion is releasing now. Also, the new release date for Next Goal Wins is April 21, 2023.

On November 22, 2023, Disney will release its film with the working title Wish, a movie about the legendary star. Also, previously scheduled for release on February 16, 2024, the Upcoming Marvel movie will now hit theatres on September 6, 2024. In fact, several other previously untitled Disney movies are scheduled to release now. For example, Elio will release on March 1, 2024, and Snow White is set to release on March 22, 2024. In addition, many other Disney movies are scheduled with new dates.

However, details about the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is still unclear. And now we know it will be long before we get the first glimpse of a coming film. The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is rumored to adopt the Rogue Squadron video game in some capacity.

When first getting the directing gig for the Star Wars spin-off, Jenkin talked about her father. She stated that her father was a US Navy pilot. As a result, she felt destined to make the greatest fighter pilot movie of all time.
