Punch-Drunk Love uses Adam Sandler’s comedic character to examine the lives of a lonely older man who discovers love. He is odd, sensitive, and singular, in addition to being incredibly humorous.
Barry Egan(Sandler) is not very happy with his life. Barry, the lone man of eight siblings, is mistreated by his overbearing sisters. He has his own established business but hasn’t gotten anywhere in life. But upon meeting Leena, she shows him that she likes him and succeeds in getting him out of his shell. But “Georgia,” whom he calls to lessen his loneliness, threatens his budding connection and consequently better beginning with Lena.
